Boy on BMX seriously injured after being hit by Audi driver on Stanningley Road

An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by the driver of an Audi on Stanningley Road.

West Yorkshire Police were called to reports of a crash at 5.45pm on Saturday afternoon.

The boy was riding his BMX away from Leeds city centre when he was hit by the driver of a grey Audi.

The cyclist is currently in hospital in a serious condition.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who saw the crash or may have dash cam footage.
