Bomb squad drive River Aire bomb out of Leeds city centre and blow it up in East End Park

Bomb disposal experts have driven an unexploded bomb out of Crown Point Bridge in Leeds to dispose of it.

Bomb disposal have taken the unexploded mortar device away from Leeds city centre and are now in East End Park.

Police on twitter confirmed that the bomb disposal team moved to East End Park to carry out the controlled explosion.
