A teenage girl subjected a woman to a “distressing” attack in a mugging in Leeds.

The blonde girl, who was 16 or 17 and was with a male accomplice, grabbed the 36-year-old by her hair and dragged her to the ground before stealing cash.

The incident happened on Rossefield Walk in Bramley on December 6.

Police Police have released an e-fit image of the girl.

Det Con Charles Maloney, of Leeds neighbourhood crime team, said: “This was clearly a very distressing incident for the victim and I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the female shown in the image or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”

Anyone with information should call Det Con Maloney at Weetwood Police Station via 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
