Azalea Avenue stabbing: Police make arrest after 31-year-old man stabbed in Killingbeck attack

A 31-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Leeds.

It happened at about 10.30pm in Azalea Avenue, Killingbeck, on Sunday (June 13).

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has now been released.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent in relation to the incident.

He remains in police custody.

A cordon has been put in place in Azalea Avenue as forensic examination is carried out.

West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the incident is not linked to a stabbing in Whinmoor earlier that evening.
