Audi driver stopped by police after driving around Leeds without a TYRE

A suspected drink driver was stopped by police in Leeds after being spotted behind the wheels of a car which was missing - a TYRE.

West Yorkshire Police Road Policing Unit tweeted out the picture of the driver’s black Audi which was missing its front left tyre.

In the tweet, they said: “I wonder why we stopped this vehicle and prohibited it?

“Oh and the driver was drunk too.”

The driver was stopped on Old Lane opposite Asda supermarket in Beeston in the early hours of this morning.

A twitter user said: “Oh it is worrying.

“The phrase ‘how on earth?’ still doesn't cover it.

“Exactly how drunk does one need to be, to even consider this?”

While another twitter user joked: “Can't get stopped for having bald tyres if you have no tyres.”
