Police are looking for a man who “moved like a trained fighter” after a nightclubber had his jaw broken in an attack.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was punched from behind in Trinity nightclub, in Wesley Square, Pudsey, at about 1.30am on Sunday, February 22.

Detective Inspector Dave Roberts, of Leeds CID, said: “The victim was socialising with friends and had not been involved in any altercation when he was attacked. During the incident the suspect was seen moving on his toes in the style of a boxer or trained fighter.

“We would like to hear from anyone who recognises him or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”

The victim had to have a metal plate inserted in his jaw after the incident.
