Attack victim hit with metal bar and stabbed

Police have issued an e-fit of a suspect they want to speak to after a man was beaten with a metal bar and stabbed.

He is believed to be one of three men who attacked the 31-year-old during a disturbance at an address in Batley.

The victim was hit over the head with a metal bar and stabbed in the leg in the incident.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to serious but not life-threatening injuries.

One of the attackers was white, in his late teens or early 20s and about 6ft tall.

He was slim, with shaved blond hair and was wearing a white shirt and white chino-style trousers.

The second man was black and believed to be of similar age and height. He was of muscular build with spiked, dark brown hair and was wearing a dark blue top and black jeans.

The other man is described as white with very blond hair.

The incident happened in Summerbridge Close at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, May 27.
