POLICE made a number of arrests after a fight outside a Leeds night club today.

A number of men were reported fighting outside Silk’s “gentleman’s club” in Soverign Place at 5am today. (Friday)

The club is built into one of the large arches carrying the railway line from the East into Leeds city station.

British Transport Police were on duty outside later today and Scenes of Crime Officers were inside the club.

The pavement outside the entrance to the club was heavily bloodstained.

Sovereign place runs at right angles to Swinegate and the main road south from Leeds City Square.
