Appeal following recent theft of garden ornament in Muston

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a theft that occurred in Muston, Filey.

The theft took place on Hunmanby Street at on Wednesday 17 May 2017 at approximately 1.15pm and involved a silver saloon style car driven by a man wearing dark clothing.

The man was seen to leave the car on Hunmanby Street and take two stone lion garden ornaments valued at £35 each, before making off in the vehicle towards Hunmanby.

We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about the silver saloon style car involved which may have been seen by anybody in the vicinity at or around the time of the theft or if anybody has been offered the stolen items for sale recently.
