Concerns are growing for an injured fox cub after people were seen throwing an adult fox corpse in a Leeds park.

Urban Wildlife Leeds are asking for help to find an injured fox cub somewhere on Primrose Valley Park in Halton.

The cub is said to have difficulties walking.

West Yorkshire Police's Wildlife and Rural Crime Team said concerns were growing after "reports of people throwing a dead full grown fox about in the area".

The full Facebook post read: "Urban Wildlife Leeds are asking for help to locate an injured fox cub somewhere on Primrose Valley Halton.

"The cub has difficulties walking.

"Concerns are growing after reports of people throwing a dead full grown fox about in the area."
