Police are appealing for information after distinctive diamond rings were stolen in a burglary in Leeds.

The three rings were among items of jewellery taken from an address in Garforth on November 9.

PC Melissa Wilson, of Leeds neighbourhood crime team, said: “The victim is an elderly lady and the items have significant sentimental value to her.

“I would like to hear from anyone who has been offered these items for sale or who has any information that could assist us in tracing them.”

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Wilson at Elland Road via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
