Anti-social behaviour injunctions, which are used to ban 10 to 17-year-olds from problem areas or from particular activities, will be used to tackle the problem which is blighting east Leeds communities.

Leeds East policing teams and Leeds Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team (LASBT) have issued one ASB injunction and 14 warnings to tackle the worst offenders at Leeds hospitals.

"To date, LASBT East have issued one injunction, one injunction amendment and 14 ASB injunction warnings.

"This is just one example of the on-going work between Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Teams and partner agencies in order to provide safer communities for all."

The alert was issued just days after a community meeting in Cross Gates, which called for more to be done to end the community's anti-social behaviour problem.
