The Keepmoat firm is seeking permission for a total of 93 two and three-bedroomed properties in the Throstle Road area of Middleton.

And a public consultation event will take place on the proposals from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, July 7, at the St George’s One Stop Centre.

Keepmoat’s Naomi Beckett said: “Whether you have a view on the aesthetics of a development or want further insight on infrastructure, this is the perfect time to come and meet with our team.

“We will also be discussing the wider investment we intend to bring to the local area, including the provision of new jobs and training opportunities, so we encourage as many people to attend as possible.” If the scheme secures planning permission, then work is expected to get under way in January.
