Aiden Kelly, from Seacroft, was last seen at the area’s Tesco store at about 1.30pm yesterday.

Leeds District CID’s Det Insp Amanda Wimbles said: “Aiden has gone missing on a number of previous occasions but this does not lessen the concerns we have for his welfare given his young age.

“He has been out overnight now and we believe he may be with people he knows but we urgently need to establish his whereabouts and check that he is okay.

“We have officers out visiting various addresses and searching for him and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or who has any information that could assist in tracing him.”

Aiden is described as white, about 5ft 3in tall and slim, with mousy blond hair in a quiff style.

When he was last seen he was wearing a navy zip-up hooded jacket, grey jogging bottoms and black Adidas trainers. He was also carrying a blue manbag.

Anyone with information is asked to ring West Yorkshire Police’s Elland Road special operations room on 101, quoting log reference 1832 of March 21.
