Troy Ross, 28, from Seacroft, was last seen on Saturday night leaving his hotel in the resort of Fethiye.

Today his partner, 28-year-old Deanna Willumsen, from Kippax, told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “I’m just hoping and praying he is safe somewhere and will come home soon.”

Troy and Deanna flew out to Turkey on Thursday, April 28, for a five-night stay at the Jiva Beach Resort hotel.

Deanna last saw her partner when she left their room at about 8.30pm on Saturday to call on a friend who was also a guest at the hotel.

Troy, who had been drinking, was later caught on CCTV trying to break down the door of the empty room after locking himself out.

He was then seen, again on CCTV, leaving the hotel alone at about 9.30pm. There has not been a sighting of him since.

Troy, a scaffolder, is known to have had a small amount of cash on him as well as Deanna’s bank card, which has not been used over the last week.

He did not have his passport with him when he went missing and had left his mobile phone back in the UK.

Checks with the local police and hospitals have drawn a blank. The disappearance has also been reported to the British authorities in Turkey.

Deanna flew home as scheduled on Tuesday to be with the couple’s three-month-old son Roman, who was being looked after by her mum while they were on holiday.

She said: “When I turned up at the airport, I was fully expecting Troy to be there waiting for me.

“I thought he might just have been lying low and was worried about getting arrested because of the damage to the hotel door.

“When he wasn’t there, that’s when it him me that something bad might have happened. I was in hysterics. I still can’t really focus on what I’m doing.

“If Troy reads this, then I want him to know that he’s not in any trouble, but please let us know he is alright.”

Troy has another son, a four-year-old also called Troy, from a previous relationship.
