Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a teenage girl who has gone missing from home in Dewsbury.

Candice Parkin, 15, was last seen by a friend on Huddersfield Road in Ravensthorpe at about 8pm on Tuesday.

Candice is described as white, about 5ft 5in tall and of slim build.

She has shoulder length hair that is coloured pink and red on the top half and ginger and brown on the bottom half.

Candice has each ear pierced three times as well as piercings to her lower lip, tongue, nose and navel.

She also has a tattoo of a dolphin on her upper right arm.

When Candice was last seen she was wearing light blue high-waisted jeans, a grey jumper and blue and white high-top trainers.

West Yorkshire Police’s PC Hayley Broadhead said: “Police and family are concerned for Candice’s welfare and we need to establish that she is safe and well.

“We would urge anyone who has seen Candice or with information about where she might be to call police via 101.

“Similarly, if Candice herself becomes aware of this appeal, we would urge her to make contact with us or her family to let us know she is okay.”
