Concern after avid Leeds United fan goes missing

The family of an avid Leeds United fan say they are concerned for his welfare after he went missing.

Shaun Howson, 32, was reported missing yesterday afternoon after last being seen at his home in Middleton at about 2.30am.

He is white, 5ft 7ins tall and slim, with short mousy brown hair. He has an “LUFC” tattoo on the back of his neck.

Mr Howson was last seen wearing a dark blue jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, and a black Foo Fighters jacket.

Detective Inspector Mark Strother, of Leeds CID, said: “Shaun’s family and the police are very concerned for his welfare and we urgently need to find him and establish that he is okay.

“Officers are currently out searching a number of areas and we would like to hear from anyone who thinks they have seen him or who has any information that could assist us in tracing him.”
