Commuters are warned as Bridgewater Place is expected to close due to high winds

Forecasted high winds are expected to close the Bridgewater Place junction tomorrow morning.

Leeds City Council has announced that the notoriously windy junction will close from 9am to 10am.

Diversion signs will be put in place for high-sided vehicles from 6am. When the road reopens at 10am the signs will again be operational until further notice.

The council will continue to monitor the wind conditions and further updates will be issued as necessary.
