Controversial comic Roy Chubby Brown is set to speak in south Leeds about his rise to prominence.
The 70-year-old performer, whose real name is Royston Vasey, will take to the stage at The Village Urban Resort Leeds South, in Tingley, on November 17.
Famed for his blue, sarcastic humour, the comedian will step out of character for ‘An Audience With Royston Vasey: The Man Behind Chubby Brown’.
Event organisers Raw Events claim the evening will see him talk about “his rise to fame and fortune, his illness and fight back”.
It was reported earlier this year that the cult comic had to cancel a string of shows following what he described as a “life-saving and extremely painful operation”.
The over-18s event, which includes a two-course meal, is £35 per ticket to attend. Visit rawevents-uk.co.uk/tickets.
