A father and son comedy duo are heading to Leeds this half term.
Cirque du Hilarious, starring Clive Webb and Danny Adams, will take to the stage at City Varieties Music Hall on Tuesday, which is Valentine’s Day, as part of the 2017 UK tour ‘Comedy Explosion’.
For the past 11 years, Clive and Danny have returned to Newcastle Theatre Royal for pantomime where locals have taken the duo to their hearts and treat them like local celebrities.
Danny said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to Leeds, it’s been far too long. We are hoping to make this a permanent date in the calendar as we have many fans in Yorkshire.
“We’ve had a few weeks rehearsing since we finished pantomime in January and I’m just raring to go - bring on the mayhem.”
The show is billed as “circus slapstick comedy magic.”
For the last 10 years Clive and Danny have also appeared at all three Butlins holiday camps throughout the season.
They have been described as “superstars of slapstick” due to their knock about, physical comedy and huge slosh and water routines.
Cirque du Hilarious is offering some lucky Yorkshire Evening Post readers the chance to see the show in Leeds.
Two family tickets for the 2pm show and two family tickets for the 7pm show are up for grabs.
A family ticket is four tickets and can be made up of any combination of children and adults.
To be in with a chance of winning, email your name and daytime telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org by midday on Monday, February 13.
