Cocktails in the City returns

The city's drink scene is about to get another epic mix-up with the announcement of a two day cocktail concoction.

Cocktails In The City will see fans of decadent drinks descend on Leeds Town Hall on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 April as 20 bars come to the party.

Already confirmed are The Alchemist, Epernay, Angelica, Be At One, Chez Mal at Malmaison, Tattu, Pintura, Fire Lake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, Thewlis Cocktail Lounge, Roxy Ball Room, Gusto, Revolucion de Cuba, Bar Soba, Vice & Virtue, Blind Tyger, Almost Famous, Manahatta and Skylounge.

In addition there will be special experiences too.

Top of the list is ‘Tonics and Treats in the Clock Tower’. After climbing 203 steps to the top of the Clock Tower for a journey back to the British Raj, experience and gin and tonic like never before, or enjoy a food and drink pairing with Pintura and up-coming drink sherry, create your own punch, or mix coffee and cocktails with baristas from 200 degrees.

Tabara N’Diaye, of Cocktails in The City, said: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating this city’s vibrant cocktail scene. This year we’ve placed an emphasis on offering drinking experiences that educate, excite and inspire.”
