Vintage flea market

The brains behind popular fashion event Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair are bringing a brand new event to Leeds.

The Vintage Furniture Flea offers everything from crockery and cameras to retro cushions and cupboards.

The event at the Corn Exchange runs from 10am to 5pm Saturday, March 12.

St Patrick’s Day Parade

St Patrick’s Day isn’t until Thusrday, March 17, but the parade is coming to Leeds on Sunday.

Now in its 16th year, the city’s parade celebrates all things Irish with colourful floats.

It sets off from Cookridge Street at 11am and will proceed to Millennium Square where there will be live traditional Irish Music, dancing, displays and food, with the party set to continue into the night.

Get your geek on at the ‘Discover Science Through Comics’ event at the White Cloth Gallery on Sunday, which aims to break the barriers between science and art.

It includes a talk, exhibition and a drop-in session where you can draw your own comics with artists from Newcastle Science Comic.
