The exciting plans for the old West Yorkshire Bus Station on Vicar Lane will see the space become a new hub for art, music, food and drink.

Now the first images of the venue have been released, giving a glimpse into what’s in store whilst the work continues to revamp the site.

Nancy Taylor, from Champion Up North, which is taking on the project, said: “The bar has been built from reclaimed wood off of the site, and we are exposing the steel supports, herringbone floors, brick walls, and concrete ceilings to create an industrial vibe.

“The space will be filled with plants and herbs to create a relaxing contrast to the rustic surroundings.

“Skroz are the genius architects behind the modern venue. They have created an open space flowing through each room, inviting customers to explore the space and make themselves at home.”

It’s great to see so much effort going into bringing an old building back to life and we look forward to seeing the finished product.
