Popular summer attraction City Beach will no longer be set up at Millennium Square.

The inland seaside experience is moving to Victoria Gardens, next to Leeds Art Gallery, for the first time this summer.

As well as plenty of sand, there will be deck chairs, ice cream stalls and fairground rides, plus music from Heart Yorkshire and organised kids' activities on weekends.

Entry to City Beach is free, although there are charges for some of the rides, which include bungee trampolines, a surf simulator and a jungle-themed funhouse.

There's also a beach barbecue and a traditional sweet stall.

City Beach opens on Saturday August 11 and runs until September 2. It's open from 10.30am to 6pm daily.
