circus skills: Fun making a splash at half-term!

Have your say

When it comes to clowning around at half term Elsie Crosthwaite has it cracked.

Elsie, five, was one of many youngters learning circus skills at Bramley Baths over the holidays.

The event, with clown Nicky Noodle, was part of the baths’ half-term schedule of fun, which also included street dance classes for boys and girls and the pool’s popular giant inflatable shark.

Fran Graham, a member of non-profit group the Friends of Bramley Baths, which runs the venue, said: “It’s been really busy and great fun this half term, I think it’s been our busiest half term yet.

“We’ve had lots of little clowns and street dancers and kids feeding the giant inflatable shark in the pool.”

She said the events had been so popular that all three would be returning for the Easter holidays. The shark inflatable is also available every Saturday from 1.15pm to 2pm.
