Christmas charity appeal launched at Grand Aracade in Leeds city centre
The Good Deed-cember appeal calls on the public to remember their older neighbours, friends and relatives at Christmas and donate money to MHA’s 57 Live at Home schemes around the country.
Members of the public were offered the chance to sign Christmas cards for the elderly at Thursday’s event, which was aimed at highlighting issues of loneliness and isolation faced by many older people in the UK.
