Chance to join Leeds police on fundraising cycle challenge

BICYCLING Leeds bobbies are set to go the extra mile for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal this July by taking part in the fourth annual ‘Round the Beat’ challenge.

Dozens of West Yorkshire police officers will be getting on their bikes alongside members of the public to raise cash for children’s and cancer charities.

Cyclists can sign up to either a 50 or 104 mile challenge.

Both rides start and finishing at Wetherby Sports Association on Boston Road, Wetherby on Sunday July 19.

Entry for the 104 mile challenge is £20 and £15 for the 50 mile event.
