Burnley want to add 27-year-old Leeds United central defender Pontus Jansson to their squad this summer, report The Sun.

The Swede was quoted last month saying he wanted to "see what was happening" at Elland Road next season in newspaper Expressen but when quizzed over his comments revealed he was happy with life in West Yorkshire.

Jansson put pen to paper on a five-year contract last October but is said to be the target of a host of Premier League clubs this summer with most notably West Ham United and now Sean Dyche's Burnley aiming to land his playing rights.
