Central Leeds: First look at new Chinese restaurant

Tattu has given City Buzz exclusive access to what its new restaurant is going to look like and what unique dishes diners can expect to see on the menu.
The site located in Minerva House, part of the new Bond Court development on East Parade, is currently being worked on and is expected to be opening in June.

The new 180-cover, split-level restaurant will create a total of 80 jobs for the city and is an expansion of the Tattu brand which has been started in Manchester by Adam and Drew Jones.
They have used a lot of the elements in the Manchester business, such as the focus on body art, but given them a new twist for the Leeds restaurant.
Adam Jones, managing director, said: “We are very excited to see peoples’ reaction to the new design. There has been a huge focus on detail but we have explored a new take on the concept for Leeds.

Hide Ad“The ‘U’ in Tattu stands for unique and the new restaurant will be exactly that. Each element, from the menu to the cocktails, crockery, glassware and the whole customer journey, has been carefully considered to deliver something we hope will be very special.
“Over the past two years we have worked very hard as a team to refine and constantly improve our offering and are very happy with the direction the brand is taking. This new venue has been created especially for the people of Leeds, and we look forward to welcoming our new guests when we open in June.”
Diners can expect signature dishes such as the Aberdeen Angus steak served with shiitake, asparagus and caramel soy and new spring interpretations such as sweet soy sticky short rib.
