Do you have the head for heights to take on a daring city-centre abseil in Leeds for Red Cross Week? Or even better, do you not have the head for heights but want to confront your fears?

The British Red Cross in Yorkshire are seeking daredevils from all corners of the White Rose County for its inaugural Leeds City Abseil. It is an amazing 269 foot (or 82 metre) drop off the Leeds CLV (‘My Student Living’) building on Jacob Street, Leeds on Sunday May 22.

Helen Whale, Community Fundraiser for the Red Cross in Yorkshire, said: “You arrive at the foot of one of the tallest buildings in Yorkshire for miles around in your superhero fancy dress: nervous but excited. You’re taken to the top by member of our team and exit onto the roof - and linger for a while to admire the stunning views.”
