It is the first time the annual festival has been held in the city, and the choirs involved included the Leeds Trinity Cathedral Boys and Girls Choir and Skipton Camerata Brass; a 14-piece brass ensemble.

Among the highlights was a performance from 315 singers of Tu es Petrus by Sir James MacMillan and Salisbury Vespers by Bob Chilcott.

The festival is hosted by Leeds Trinity University and supported by the Diocese of Leeds Music Department.
