Cash stolen during knifepoint robbery in Leeds supermarket

This is the man police want to trace after a knifepoint robbery in Leeds.

A man went into Aldi at Junction 1 Retail Park in Beeston at around 9.45pm on Wednesday.

He went over to the checkout where an assistant was serving a customer, and made demands for money while holding a small kitchen knife.

The man took cash before leaving through the main entrance.

A CCTV image of the man police want to trace after the knifepoint robbery.

The robbery took place at Aldi in Beeston on Wednesday night.
