
The incident began at 4am this morning when concerns for the welfare of a man in a house on Cardigan Road were reported.
Trained police negotiators were sent to the scene.
At around 9.30am the incident was safely resolved and a 28-year-old man was arrested over a previous breach of the peace offence.
Road closures have been lifted although a crime scene remains in place.
