Have your say in high street awards

Have your say

People love their town centre - and now you have the chance to say what’s great about yours.

Our ‘Shop Local, Eat Local, Play Local’ campaign is supporting the Association of Town and City Management’s Great British High Street of the Year Awards.

There are six categories – city centre, town centre, market town, coastal community, local shopping centre or parade of shops and village. Applications are open until August 1.

The YEP is calling on recognised local partnerships such as Business Improvement Districts, Town Teams, Town Centre Partnerships or Community Interest Companies, to nominate local high streets for the award, which celebrates the incredible diversity and services that British high streets provide for shoppers.

We also want readers to tell us what you think makes your high street great.

You can have your say on Twitter using the hashtag #jphighstreets or send us your videos and pictures illustrating just what makes your high streets special
