Campaigners to meet over controversial plans to build 550 homes in south Leeds

Residents are being invited to have their say on plans to build hundreds of homes on land in Churwell.

Campaigners opposing the Persimmon Homes and Priestgate Morley Limited plans to build 550 houses at Laneside Farm, off Victoria Road, will meet at Morley Town Hall tomorrow from 7pm.

The group has handed out 2,500 flyers and letters to residents claiming that the plans should be refused due to fears over the impact the development could have on congestion, school places and local health care.
