Top boss to talk on his plans for city

THE boss of high street retailer John Lewis will reveal why his business has chosen Leeds for its major new store when he speaks at a business event in the city on Tuesday.

The firm’s managing director, Andy Street, will be at the Leeds Chamber Business Lunch to be held at the Queens Hotel.

A new John Lewis store covering 260,000 sq ft will be the anchor shop for the proposed £675m Eastgate and Harewood Quarter development.
