A REMOVALS and storage firm has won a new archived document storage contract worth more than £500,000.

McCarthy’s 10 year contract with engineering consultancy Grontmij will see the Leeds firm store and archive documents which were previously spread across the UK.

McCarthy’s managing director Mike McCarthy said: “Securing the Grontmij contract is a fantastic start to the year to an area of our business that continues to go from strength to strength.

“We weren’t even one of the original suppliers, so it’s quite an achievement to have been selected to manage everything from now on.

“The recent investment we have made in our Leeds facility is definitely a key attribute for us along with our ten years of experience of document handling and archived storage, which we have to date specialised in for regional professional services companies.”
