The Leeds branch of national chain, The Body Shop, is having the first refurbishment of its kind in the country.
The new and improved version of the store on Briggate will have a VIP area and a community hub which will be available for public use.
Customers can post information on a specially designated wall to promote local volunteering projects and charity fundraisers to help them get more support.
The Briggate store closed this week and will re-open on November 5, creating eight extra jobs.
Linda Campbell, retail director of The Body Shop, said: “We are thrilled to be re-investing in Leeds as a location and at such an exciting time for the city’s retail landscape. Briggate is one of our busiest sites.”
