New centre will teach qualification

LEEDS is to get a new training centre to deliver the professional qualification of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.

It will be formally opened on January 21.

The CIPFA Education and Training Centre will offer high quality face-to-face classroom-based tuition.

It will be based at Kaplan Financial's premises at the City Exchange on Albion Street, Leeds, with courses commencing on January 26.

Giles Orr, head of the CIPFA Education and Training Centre, said: "Students in Yorkshire and the north will now have even better access to the country's leading public finance qualification."
