Motor repair experts set up their own garage

THREE former RAC mechanics have set up shop in Leeds to form their own service garage.

Moorfield Garage on Moorfield industrial estate in Yeadon has been formed by Richard Hunt, Paul Senior and Kevin Campbell.

They have got the backing of banking giant NatWest through a 60,000 Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) loan.

The new venture will offer MOTs, services and repairs to local motorists and the garage is a part of the Bosch Car Service network which guarantees first class service and affordable pricing under an Office of Fair Trading-approved code of practice.

Richard Hunt said: "We are all big car enthusiasts and have a wealth of knowledge to bring to this business. We're over the moon that we've been able to set-up independently and are certain we can provide an unrivalled service to our customers.

"I love working with cars in my own time and it's great to be doing something I'm passionate about."
