Major Leeds employer Grant Thornton has taken on a record number of trainee staff this year.

The business advisory firm has welcomed 28 new school and university leavers onto its training programme across their Leeds and Sheffield offices. Fourteen graduates and five post-A Level trainees have been joined by five interns and four university students on 12-month placements.

“It’s a very exciting time as Grant Thornton has established a reputation as the go-to firm for growth businesses.

“It’s also great to be able to gain award-winning training from one of the UK’s leading business advisers while remaining here in Yorkshire,” said Leeds-based graduate Chris Olie.
