Knottingley: 2,000 new warehouse jobs

Plans for two new warehouses in Knottingley, which will create 2,000 jobs, have been given the go ahead.

Wakefield Council’s planning and highways committee have approved Caddick Construction’s plans to build the new Cross Point Wakefield development just off junction 33 of the M62.

Normanton’s TK Maxx warehouse on California Drive will close and the company will move its 461 staff employed there to the new facility, which will be built on land just off Grovehall Lane.
