Firm is facing up to bright future with expansion plan

A NEW skincare business is to create nine jobs in Leeds with the promise of more to follow.

The 2.5 million Good Skin Days clinic has been launched in Otley Road, Guiseley, by business partners John Gill and Paul Jones, the men behind the successful brand.

The new project came about with financial backing from Yorkshire Bank's North Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre.

Laser skin care specialists Mr Gill and Mr Jones previously ran Lasercare Clinics, which was re-branded in 2005 and has now been sold on.

The partners' previous venture became the largest non-invasive laser surgery business in the UK with 18 sites nationally, including in Harley Street, London.

Good Skin Days director Mr Jones said: "We felt that there was room for another non-invasive laser skincare business based on our considerable experience and the Guiseley site has proved to be an ideal first base for this venture.

"We have been very fortunate to secure funding from Yorkshire Bank."
