YORKSHIRE entrepreneurs want to see more apprentice opportunities to be created, according to research by Coutts & Co.

It was seen as a priority by almost a third of entrepreneurs in Yorkshire and The Humber questioned for the study.

The research also shows that almost a third of entrepreneurs believe that the top driver to enable Britain to become more of an enterprise economy is to reduce regulation, followed by improved access to growth capital and a reduction in business tax burden.

Business owners in Yorkshire and the Humber are starting to feel more optimistic about the economic outlook with almost half planning to expand their business this year.
