A Wakefield-based company has shown its support for a Syria campaign by printing off over 11,000 t-shirts for free.

Clothing specialist Xamax offered their help to support SKT Welfare’s STAND4SYRIA project, which provides humanitarian relief for Syria.

The charity will now sell and distribute the t-shirts, with all of the profits helping to provide aid relief in Syria.

Graham Thompson, managing director of Xamax, said: “SKT Welfare is an organisation that we can trust to make the most of our donations, which is why we were more than happy to help in any way we could.

“Printed t-shirts are a proven fundraiser for charities and also help to raise awareness by the people that wear them.

“This is our second donation to the charity, in the hope that we can make a real difference to the lives of those that SKT Welfare provide aid to.”
