'Businesses on breadline' report

A REPORT has revealed that one in eight small and medium-sized enterprises are living on the breadline with only a minimum amount of emergency cash.

John Jenkins, chief executive officer of GE Capital, said: "It is worrying that so many are not in a position to deal with an emergency should it arise."
