Beaumont Legal opens second office as market growth results in bumper year

beaumont legal has expanded its business by opening a second office, following a strong performance in the last 12 months.

The Wakefield-based firm worked on transactions worth £1.7bn across more than 8,000 UK properties in 2013, prompting an expansion of its team and offices.

Its 11,500 sq ft headquarters at Paragon Business Village is now supported by an 8,800 sq ft premises at Wakefield 41 Business Park.

The additional space will potentially see the 160-strong workforce grow to more than 200 employees.

Nick Masheder, partner and head of conveyancing for Beaumont Legal, said the new office is “crucial” to the continued development of the business.

“The new office is an integral part of our ambitious growth plans and our next step in continued expansion of our growing teams across all areas of the firm,” he said.

Beaumont Legal has added 100 positions to its workforce in the last 18 months.

The firm recently launched a £150,000 training centre at its new offices, to support non-qualified employees and build on the skills of more experienced staff.

It is also targeting top graduates in the region, by linking with universities in Huddersfield, Sheffield and Leeds in an effort to attract talent.
