A Savvi online move

A NEW online money-saving website has been launched in Leeds which says it will appeal to people trawling the net for a bargain or two.

savvi has been developed by parent company Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, also based in the city.

The website will offer its customers free access to exclusive offers, including savings on high street shopping, retail discounts and insurance, through www.besavvi.co.uk.

Gerald Grimes, managing director of Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, said: "This year we have a 1 billion fund to help retailers sell more and savvi is another investment in our trade partners and end consumers."
