A hairy end to 2010 for a top charity team

WORKERS came up with a hair-raising scheme to help in the battle against a killer disease.

Staff from Supplies Team at Normanton near Wakefield, pictured, grew moustaches as part of the Movember charity campaign to support the Prostate Cancer Charity.

The 29 volunteers managed to raise 2,053 for the international fundraiser - which began in 2003 - by sporting and grooming stylish 'taches.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and kills someone every hour in the UK.
