Building futures! Barratt Developments invests in its West Yorkshire sales team

Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, which includes both the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has strengthened its sales team through the promotion of two of its long-standing staff members. Emma Fitton-Cook moves from her position as Sales Progressor to Sales Manager, with Gemma Rosindale advancing from Part Exchange Adviser to Part Exchange Manager.

Emma, 29, originally from Manchester and now living in Pontefract, moves into her position as Sales Manager after four years with the company where her extensive knowledge of the housebuilding industry will support in her new role.

Emma is now responsible for driving sales across the division, managing a team to ensure excellent customer service, coordinating new site launches and maintaining a high volume of sales.

Gemma, 32, based in Leeds, progresses from her role as Part Exchange Adviser to Part Exchange Manager, after six years with Barratt Developments.

Gemma brings with her 12 years of industry knowledge, which includes previous roles with Chartered Surveying companies.

Gemma began her career with Barratt Developments as a Sales Administrator, quickly progressing to the Sales Director’s Personal Assistant, before taking the leap into Part Exchange 15 months ago in order to play a more active role in the sales team.

On being promoted, Emma commented: “I’m delighted to be joining a fantastic sales management team at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, with it being an aim of mine since starting at the company four years ago. I really enjoy working for Barratt and I’m confident my management experience, alongside my already established relationships with the Sales Advisers, will assist me in my new role and help to drive results.”

Gemma also added: “I am so excited to have been given this opportunity, Barratt Developments do a brilliant job at promoting from within and helping their staff to progress and recognise their own potential. I have been part of the company for six years and have such a passion for the business. I look forward to using the strong relationships I have formed to help run the Part Exchange department successfully.”
